this project is one I made to be basically an existential crisis in a bottle, something you might find on a lonely computer in The Backrooms, or perhaps a Liminal Space, or maybe just some random corner of the internet. it is inspired from one singular phrase

what if pencil sharpeners are silent and the noise we hear is merely the pencils screaming bloody murder?

this site is designed to be thought provoking, as well as existential crisis inducing. proceed with caution, though, if it's any consolation, I'll provide an explanation on these phrases, words, or images as necessary, such as their origin, credit to the authors, as well as questions to guide your thought, should you want them.

still here? well then. this site is organized into sections, for the type of existential crisis or thought it may provoke. these are summaries, and some sections may have specifics on their page too

the first is called "Sentience" as all beings are sentient, but what defines sentient? having stimulus? having thought? functioning to survive for oneself? if it is one of those three, are those not the vital components of existence? because then that intertwines it with that topic as well. is it interaction with other beings? is it autonomy? if it's autonomy, or, free will then it is also intertwined with that concept too. these are the questions you may ask, or need to ponder after reading these things.

the second shall be called "Free Will" as the content here will make you question whether or not you are truly free, or perhaps you are merely a puppet, or perhaps you are a manipulator of another's free will, but then what defines control over one's own free will? what defines control over another's free will? what are the lines for this? these are questions you need to answer for yourself, i only hope your answers are ones i, the creator, may agree with, however, my answers only exist because i do, and am sentient, and thus is intertwined with those concepts as well, just as your answers exist because you are sentient and exist, or, perhaps your answer to why your answers exist is different? it really is quite complex.

the third category shall be called "Existence", now this may seem broad, it may seem too broad, but you know what i say to that? perhaps your mind has been narrowed to the point of not thinking of the big questions like this. perhaps that is a manipulation to counter your beliefs and drive interest in my site and drive you to read more, though, is it truly a manipulation of your free will if i tell you? that question is tangled within the concept of free will too, and if i tell you, does that not mean we are both sentient, if we can interact? it's yet another intertwined concept that is both singular and divided, yet interconnected.
